Dear Family Days Storage operates the website dearfamilydays.mom and is the controller for personal data processed in connection with this site and our storage-planning services in Munich. Data we collect
When you contact us by email, phone, or the contact form, we process the details you provide — typically name, email address, phone number, Munich neighbourhood, and project description. During home visits we may record room measurements and notes needed to prepare your storage plan. We do not require an account to browse the site.

Purposes and legal bases
We process enquiry and project data to respond to you, schedule visits, prepare plans, and issue invoices in EUR. Legal bases include Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual and contractual steps) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a professional studio and documenting work). Cookie consent preferences are stored based on your choice (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR where consent applies).
Retention
Enquiry emails that do not become projects are usually deleted or anonymised within 24 months. Project files (plans, measurements, invoices) are kept as required under German commercial and tax rules, generally up to ten years for accounting records. You may ask us to erase data that is no longer needed for those purposes.
Sharing and hosting
We do not sell personal data. Hosting providers and email processors acting for Dear Family Days Storage may process technical logs and message content under our instructions. Transfers outside the EU/EEA occur only with appropriate safeguards if a provider requires it; otherwise processing remains in the EU/EEA where practicable.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
