How Dear Family Days Storage started
In 2019, founder Lena Hartmann spent months arguing with a narrow pantry behind a Maxvorstadt kitchen — shelves too deep for jars, too high for flour, and no place for the Pfand crate that lived on the floor. After sketching a layout that finally worked for her household, neighbours asked for the same calm. What began as evening drawings on graph paper became Dear Family Days Storage: a studio devoted to pantry and home storage planning for Munich families.
We are not a furniture brand. We measure your rooms, listen to how you cook and tidy, and write plans that joiners and DIY parents can follow. The name nods to the ordinary days — school runs, market trips, laundry piles — that storage should support without drama.
What “dear family days” means in practice
Good storage is quiet. It means finding oats without moving three boxes, hanging wet jackets where they dry, and knowing which drawer holds batteries. We focus on those small daily wins rather than showpiece kitchens.
